The focus of technology in the middle school is on assisting students in taking on increasingly complex subject matter and expanding their interests and knowledge with rich media, interactive lessons, and collaborative projects. Each classroom in the middle school is equipped with an Epson Brighlink interactive whiteboard and a Frontrow amplification system. Teachers employ a wide variety of curriculum enrichment websites, such a IXL and Kurzweil, for work both in and out of the classroom. Students have access to a full media lab, as well as multiple portable laptop carts so that they use technology in the areas and classes they need it most. The middle school Educational Technology Coordinator teaches students the foundations of competency in Google Apps and how to use the internet safely and responsibly.
